§ Submit an event

Send a short note with the basics and we'll usually have it published within a week.

Title and short description
One line for the title, three or four sentences describing what's actually happening on the day.

Date, start time, and time zone
ISO date is easiest (YYYY-MM-DD). Include the local time zone — Pacific, Mountain, Central, etc.

Location
Venue and city / state, or 'Online' with the platform (Zoom, YouTube, Twitch). A street address helps for re-enactments.

Organizer and a public URL
Who's hosting it (museum, school, society, town) and a canonical link to the event page on your own site.

Capacity, registration, and cost
If there's a sign-up flow or a price, include it. Free events are welcome — say so explicitly.
