About the game
The 3rd Edition kept the Amazon Trail II engine but added Rainforest Adventures, a series of guided story missions aimed at the elementary-school market. The standard free-roam time-travel river journey stayed available alongside the new structured content.
It is the version most often found on late-'90s educational software bundles.
